Would increasing the federal government's role improve health care in the United States?

The Benjamin Rush Society presents this debate on proposed policy changes in American health care. Please join us for this debate at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in Temple, TX on December 9, 2009.

The discussion is from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Mayborn Auditorium at the Medical Education Building on the Scott & White Memorial Campus, 2401 South 31st Street in Temple. It will be teleconferenced to Lecture Hall 1 of the Joe H. Reynolds Medical Building on the Texas A&M University West Campus. A brief reception will follow.

The panel discussion endeavors to educate the local community, particularly those in the health care industry, on the issues surrounding the health care debate and to motivate increased activism from health care professionals.
